Skiing in Itter

General information

Itter is a friendly, traditional and small Tyrolean village with about 1150 inhabitants, consisting of houses, several hotels and an impressive castle, Schloss Itter. The ski resort is especially suitable for beginners and families with children. Down in the village there are some small slopes with lifts. You can then keep an eye on your children from a lovely terrace.

From Itter there is a gondola connection that leads you into the Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski world. From there, the possibilities are numerous. The longest run of the Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski area (approx. 8.5 km) is in Itter. In the evening, the kids can entertain themselves on the floodlit toboggan run.

The après-ski takes place mainly in the hotels themselves. Or for more of a party, guests can visit the nearby Söll or Westendorf. After skiing, enjoy the culinary specialties at dinner or pay a visit to the castle.
