Skiing in Domaine de Sainte Foy Tarantaise

General information

Domaine de Sainte Foy Tarentaise is a beautiful, small-scale ski area in the Northern Alps. It has 41 kilometres of well-maintained slopes and is still relatively undiscovered, making it ideal for families and peace-seekers. No long queues at the ski lift or having to search for a spot on the terrace, just enjoying the beautiful slopes in peace.

Despite the small scale of the ski area, it does have a height difference of more than 1000 metres, with the village at 1,550 metres and the highest peak at 2,620 metres. There creates a nice distribution of varied slopes. There are easy, smooth slopes through the woods, more challenging slopes with moguls, and beautiful off-piste descents. For a well-deserved break, there are also several picturesque mountain restaurants, where you can enjoy traditional regional dishes and a refreshing drink.

If you want to take a look at a larger ski area for a day, Paradiski is a great choice. In just 15 minutes by car, you can reach the 'Le Replat' ski lift, from which you can ski all the way to Les Arcs. Please note that it is not possible to buy a ski pass for Les Arcs/Paradiski here. Buy these online before your holiday starts, or visit the ski pass counter in Les Arcs.
