General information

La Via Lattea ski area consists of the towns of Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, San Sicario, Cesane and Claviere. This ski area is also known as the 'Milky Way'. With 400km of slopes, it is the largest connected ski area in Italy. It is right on the border between Italy and France, and its highest point, Mont Motta, is 2823 metres above sea level. Overall, it is a very diverse ski area, with numerous slopes running through forests.
