Skiing in Sestrière

General information

Via Lattea (Sestriere) is on the boarder of France and Italy and is one of the most impressive areas in Europe with great conditions. The views are amazing and you will certainly enjoy exploring this expansive ski area of about 400km of pistes. The ski area ideal for intermediate/experienced skiers but is suitable for all levels with numerous beginner pistes. This high altitude resort was underwent extensive improvements for the Olympics in 2006, this was necessary as it was one of the first “purpose built” resorts in the Italian Alps. This is a wonderful family resort with many activities such as ice-skating; the restaurants and bars seem more affordable than other resorts in Switzerland, France and Austria.
